great game 2-2 at halftime after a very close first half, Deportivo took the lead at 64 minutes as they started to look dominant and Bigmanoncampus got disconnected at around 70 minutes (was having connection problems previously). Replayed the last 20 and what a 20 that was!! Espanyol got a penalty and was saved by Manninger at 6 minutes - counter attack by deportivo and pongolle got his hat trick 4-2 with 10 minutes to go. Seemed like game over but Straight from the kick off, vassell walks through the defence and lobs the keeper 4-3 with 9 minutes left about 6 minutes later and again vassell walks through the defense and its 4-4!!!!! The deportivo hang their heads in shame!

great game mate, draw was about right but i threw it away my defense was awful at times and made allot ofmistakes. I had allot of attacks butt the finishing was not good enough need to play allot better if wanna qualify from this group.

Game Description
The Bologna side step out onto the pitch feeling fairly confident in winning this match as the Malaga side hasn't won a league match yet and seem to be struggling to stop goals going passed them. This image of Malaga which Bologna had was soon wiped out of their minds as the first attack goes to Malaga and they rush up to the Bologna half of the pitch and calmly walk it up to the Bologna 18 yard box and do a quick one-two passing manouvere and one of their players takes a shot right next to the penalty spot and beats the keeper but also beats the post. A should have been goal left the Malaga side heartbroken as the ball is brought back into play. The first 10 minutes had been all Malaga but the Bologna 4-1-2-1-2 side made a quick break away from their half and into the Malaga side of the pitch. Not stopping, M. Di Vaio run around 30 yards and made a pass to M. Marazzina who enters the Malaga 18 yard box and is taken down in a spiteful challenge by F. Rossato for Malaga in the 13th minute. Rossato is sent straight off and M. Marazzina is given a penalty. Marazzina shoots top left as the keeper dives bottom left and the Bologna side go 1-0 up. Taking the kick-off and losing the ball straight to the Bologna team, Magala's 10 man team begin to feel the pressure as the Bologna team rush straight up the pitch and S. Volpi nets in Bologna's second for the evening. A clear cut straight pass by M. Di Vaio into the penalty box ensured that all Volpi had to do was do a cheeky flick one way and the goal was near to impossible to have missed. It was good play followed up by a good goal.
The next 20 minutes the Malaga team became refocused at the task in hand and held off the Bologna side until the 45th minute it was M. Di Vaio's first goal of the evening which was another tap in goal as the keeper rushed out to get the ball from M. Marrazina, the ball was cleverly passed behind himself and was struck by Di Vaio. Just as things couldn't get any worse, it did. The last 20 minutes the Malaga side had defended well and have just witnessed one goal passed them and now another goal had landed into the Malaga net and they went 4-0 down courtesy of a chip throguh ball by S. Volpi and recovered by Adailton who nets in a lovely goal on the edge of the 18 yard box.
As the whistle blows for half time it was clear by now that their was no chance in coming back for the Malaga team, all they could do now is cut their losses short, admit the defeat and try to keep the scoreline the same, or better for themselves. Maybe if they scored it would look a tiny bit better for themselves.
As the teams step out on to the pitch to begin the second half the tension was in the air for the Malaga players as they know they need a better performance this half. That isn't exactly what happened for them though. As the whistle blew the Malaga side quickly gave the ball to the opposition straight from the kick-off. M. Di Vaio had recieved the ball. He run up to the Malaga 18 yard box made a quick pass to Adailton who made just a quick pass back which confused the defenders and M. Di Vaio scored Bologna's 5th goal from just inside the 18yard box.
Things got even worse for Malaga as in the 57th minute it was Adailton who scored yet again in this goal fest thrashing to give Bologna even more of a lead. He had been given the ball by the Malaga keeper by accident, mis-shot the shot which the Malaga keeper had mis-parried straight back to Adailton and he shot the goal from around 25 yards and scored an easy open goal as the keeper was on the floor.
In the 75th minute it was M. Di Vaio's tap in which put Bologna 7-0 up. Another easy tap-in supplied by Adailton had seen another good play followed up by another good goal.
It was pass and play the whole time for the Bologna side who would constantly one-two pass it and weave inbetween the opposition. This had been working the whole match until M. Di Vaio was taken down from behind in the Malaga box and the offender, Jesus Gamez, was sent off and left M. Marazzina to net his second goal and second penalty of the night. This time he had struck the ball top right and the keeper had dived top left. The 83rd minute red card, combined with the other red got a lot worse when the Malaga team had some how found yet another red card in the referees pocket which was issued to Helder Rosario for takin down M. Marazzina inside the Malaga penalty box. Shooting top right again, the keeper dived top left once more and Marazzina had put the Bologna side up yet another goal, tallying in at 9-0. The 90th minute red card and penalty was the last bit of action on the field as the final whistle blew and both sides had mixed reactions. The Bologna team were enthrilled with excitement and the Malaga side was completely feeling the opposite way. A one sided game which looked like their was one team playing today and that team was Bologna. A well deserved win for the club.

Bologna Manager's Overview
The first 10 minutes we looked the weaker side and we could have easily gone down 1-0 in the first 2 minutes but the second the Malaga side dropped to 10 men we took full advantage of it and the more goals we seemed to score, the more men they lost. A great game for our club today and a huge morale boost for the team.

A lob ball over the top and a terible defensive header gifted forlan a volley that he will never miss to make it 1-0
this time from the restart the ball chanced to messi on the left wing he cleared the defenders with a long high ball...Anelka got on the end of it and rifled it in for 2-0
Bullard equalised through a brilliont through pass which made t more than easy for him to slot it home
The gmae was the made certain in the 85th minute by robben.
But then a messi shot wasnt caught by the keeper..A very easy shot and in the 90th minute it was parried and lavezi pounced to make it 4-1.
Then a wondrous header from anelka made it 5-1

Barcelona had chance after chance hit the post twice Gomes was outstanding tho made save after save and deserves motm.

How Barca lost i dont know i didn't see the stats after the match tho im sure Tuggz will be more than happy to tell everyone lol

Ready.........HOW SPURS WON THIS IL NEVER KNOW seriousley went down to 10 men after about 10mins (capdevilla) last man, then got pummeled for 45mins.
2nd Half and Chelsea took the lead, then from the 65th to the 69th min Spurs had some of the ball and scored 2 goals, (even Andy Gray joined) "incredible two shots and two goals" after that things went back to normal and Chelsea started to dominate

In all seriousness im not happy with my team the now and will be very active when the window opens.

With a game that looked destined to start defensive it was anything but! Game opened up with Deportivo eager to get an early goal after their dismal start to the Super cup, an early cross from De guzman saw Milito miss the header with Riki having a tap in from 7 yards out and Deportivo off to a flyer! The game was very very much end to end stuff with Robbie Keane looking meanacing as he feeds off balls from Santa Cruz.

14 minutes in and I have to say a superbly worked goal from Newcastle with great passing and movement they absoloutly tore the Deportivo defence apart - that goal had me worried as they were clearly a threat but Riki buzzing from his first goal put another one away 5 minutes after Cruz and Deportivo were attacking on all cylendars - If that goal wasnt enough to silenece Newcastle up steps Deportivo's and La Liga's top scorer Pongolle to put one past Shay Given who was have a dismal time with the onslaught.

The game carried on with Deportivo giving attack after attack and Newcastle trying to counter but Lucas neil standing strong. Jenas missed one 3 yards out into an open goal but the attacks were flowing.

2nd half was much the same and Deportivo trying to put it well and truly home band on 87' Pongolle got his 2nd after a well worked move with Filipe Louis - a few frustrated tackles by Newcastle but they played well just couldnt get it in front of goal.

very close game but valencia only had 3 shot with 1 on target i think he hit the bar but not sure i hit the post soon after and giovinco and cruz couldn't get enough curl when the keeper charged the goal was a bad one i had a shot well saved by his keepy the ball was rollin slowly to the corner flag the defender cleared it when it was in the six yard box and it hit cruz in the back he turned around and shot it like a bullet into the roof of the net
i could have got at least 4 goals but my finishing was poor and rossi could easily have stolen it

good game carlos , inter defended well , and proble should have scored a few more goals after creating good chances and hiting post, but hull played well and played some good football and should had proble got a goal i think he will do well at hull this manager and hopefully get out of drop zone, but a good clean sheet and progression 2 next round for inter, and i still got play recreativo huleva my old club in this group last fixture and looking forward to meeting my old players should be a good final game, anyway good game carlos and all the best in your league m8!
