A cracking start to xI LiamYiddo Ix's reign as Racing Santander manager as they play the currently in-form Numancia side who in thier most recent game beat Galactico giants Real Madrid. Liam's side fielded a new formation which gave Jonathan Pereira a free role in the middle of the park and Colsa as a makeshift sweeper.

The first start kicked off with a bang for Santander as after only 3 minutes Kalou fired in from a tight angle. More pressure put on by Santander left Numancia quaking in thier boots. D.Bent couldn't find an opening between Pablo and Ze Antonio at the heart of the Santander defence. As Numancia kept pushing for the equaliser Racing Santander hit them on the break just before half time with a 1 on 1 finish by Kalou to bag his second goal of the day.

The second half kicked off with only one sub made: R.Fuller coming on for Ersen Martin as he had picked up a slight knock. Two fearsome strikes from Fuller just after coming on forced a save out of G.Lux and the other crushing the woodwork. From the resulting corner the ball was put right into a scramble in the box when a clearance riccocheted of Fuller's chest and was volleyed into the back of the net by Kalou to polish off his hat-trick. The match was then ruined by a second yellow for Ramis and a straight red for Ayoze which then left Numancia with only 9 men to attempt a come back. The match was then sadly sent to a premature end as the manager samuel526 had to go for dinner =(.

Racing Santander 4-0 Almeria

xI LiamYiddo Ix's second game in charge saw his side face a high-flying Almeria side currently lying 6th in the table. Racing Santander go in to this game with high confidence after a solid 3-0 win over Numancia. However Almeria will be slightly downhearted with a 5-2 loss to Barcelona earlier on in the week.

The first half kicked off with a sloppy midfield battle resulting in the ball not reaching the strikers. With Almeria firing the first few shots from long-range hoping to get an early lead. Then shortly after that Soldado of Almeria was put through 1 on 1 with the on form Tono in the Santander goal only for the ball to spring of the crossbar. Almost instantly the Santander midfield slotted in Ricardo Fuller down the left only for his shot to smash the post.

After a stalemate first half both teams had hope of a breakthrough early on in the second half. But this was not to happen as both keepers pulled off fantastic stops saving thier teams from conceding the first goal of the game. Then the breakthrough happened. On the 62nd minute Fuller was put through with two defenders in front of him. Both held back almost wanting him to shoot and Fuller calmly slotted the ball under the keeper from just outside the area. Only 8 minutes later Kalou was put through after a scrappy corner was cleared. Kalou smoothly slotted home with the outside of his boot. Umbridge then made a tactical substitution in taking Acasiete off for Diop in order to bring some solidarity to the Almeria defence. But this did not help as Kalou was then put through 1 on 1 again only for a vicious tackle from A.Song which resulted in him being sent down the tunnel. The resulting free-kick was brilliantly save in the corner by Diego Alves. From another counter attack Kalou was put through on goal and unselfishly sqaured the ball to Fuller for his second goal. Then in added time Fuler was then put through and returned the favour to Kalou to complete a brilliant performance by the two strikers with both gaining two goals.

The Vicente Calderon was the venue for this clash as Sevilla look to keep pressure on early league leaders Barcelona.

With Coltomlive's Madrid snatching a final day finale win over Bosic's Sevilla last season, there was something to prove this time around as Sevilla were determined not to let Madrid spoil thier dream this time around.

The start however couldn't have been worse. R.Van Persie giving the home side the lead within the first ten minutes. That lead wasn't to last long as on Sevilla's next attack, S.Eto'o found himself one-on-one with C.Gordon and the in-form striker slotted home nicely.

The action packed match was to take another turn only five mintues later when R.Van Persie restored Madrid's lead and Deco put a third last Palop with ten minutes left in the half.

Ath Madrid looking comfortable at 3-1 going into half time when S.Eto'o snached a last gasp goal in stoppage time of the first half to reduce Madrid's lead to one.

A half time substitution saw D.Cisse come on for F.Semioli. Sevilla now playing with three recognised strikers on the park. The decision proved to be correct as D.Cisse powered a header home with just over fifteen minutes left to play to tie the scores at 3-3.

Sevilla now were briming with confidence and Madrid starting to look a bit shakey.

The winner was to come five minutes from time when Luis Fabiano showed great strength to hold off the last defender and get clean through on goal. The big Brazilian then smashed his shot into the top corner. Sevilla coming from 3-1 down to win 4-3 in a thrilling encounter.

Great match Coltomlive. Looking at match stats a draw would have been fair but I'm not complaining

was one of the most excitin and hardest games i have played so far with both teams defences been rock solid... match looked to be headin for lots of goals o goaless draw as both teams had chances to score on counter attacks.

Ramis the CB for Racing was the man who had a gr8 game but his mistimin led to Maccarone the Espanyol ST running past him to cut back for Lita who said thnk u very much by doin the same but maccarone scuffed it.

Was a bit of a scrappy game to be honest with both teams only managing passing accuracy in the mid 70%'s. It was a game that Villarreal dominated though and the scoreline could have been higher. Mallorca played well, but the difference in class between the players on the pitch was evident, and Cassano and Cruz didn't really make an impact.

Villarreal went 3-0 up after about 20 mins and prasiejebus1977's xbox "crashed" at exactly the same time that the 3rd goal went in the net. On coming back online praisejebus said that Villarreal should just take the win. Bit of a shame tbh cause I could have done with the goal difference, and ronaldo is way too far ahead in la liga top scorer, but nvm.

gg anyway m8 while it lasted. you might wanna have a look at getting your xbox fixed though if that happens a lot.
