Week 19

Getafe 1-2 Ath.Madrid

What a game, Getafe was happy to sit back and defend but that failed as Villa scored first.
First half was all but dominated by Ath.Madrid. Heading towards the end(around 85') D.Milito was put through and scored with outside of boot.
Then Just moments later D.Villa scored the late winner.

Very Well played.

1-0 up at half time and Getafe never got out of thier half. Valdes had the game of his life hit post crossbar don't know how many times.

Second half more of the same only in the 86th minute Getafe equalized on the break away. With so little time left i thought i'd been suckered again(would'nt be the first time this season), so went all out attack for last 5 mins and David Villa popped up in 89 with a justified winner.

I have lost a few this season and been left wondering just how, if this would have ended in a draw it would have been the biggest of the lot.

When I heard that gaz had taken over as CT of Valladolid it was my worst fear because we have played each other so many times and he knows my game inside out. He is my 'bogey' manager so to speak.

After the usually rock solid gambs scored the own goal i thought my bad run of results would continue, but after half time villarreal looked a different side. cesc's curling winner was particularly nice

Very harsh result for Villarreal

Santander got the better start an early goal 1-0 but then a quick reply from Jo to equalise. The first 20 mins were very even but from then on it was all Villarreal who dominated the game. Then in the closing minutes a counter attack and the winner coming from Racing's second shot of the game. ffs lol. this has happened a lot this season and its WELL annoying.

yet another game without conceeding for the mighty almeria.....4 games ...2 wins and 2 draws all but secures almerias position in la liga

This match started at high tempo with Espanyol still with a chance of catchin the top 4 were flyin with all strikers on pitch startin from CM 2 ST. the managers emphasis of startin the whole striker force was to get early goals and itt paid off with lita and Tchite destroyin Huelvas back with quick counters and Luis Garcia and his comrades arrivin quick to finish with ease. Huelva never really threatened but showed their intent of ball posession but unfortunately beto was sent off after been lost by Litas quick fisrst time passin.
