This is got to be the most fustrating game iv played i so carnt belive this game and how many times i hit the post to not even get a point out ov this game i totaly lost it on this game and got is so angry i let my team down and my self down. thats all i can say at this time. well played bosic good luck on the season mate.

A match that was only ever going to go one way. Sevilla dominated from start to finish, credit to Numancia and haylock for hanging in there and playing the full 90 minutes tho!

Numancia's best and only real chance of the match came when R.Acouafresca blasted over the bar from 8 yards out from an empty net.

Sevilla's goals were mostly all very well worked although some poor defending also let some through.

Mallorca started brightly and could have had an early lead. As soon as Luis Fabiano opened the scoring Mallorca seemed to crumble slightly with Eto'o giving Sevilla a 3-0 half time lead.

Sevilla took the foot off the pedal a bit in the second half and Jo made their slackness pay as he slotted home a well worked move.

S.Eto'o put any comeback to bed when he completed his hat-trick on 86mins.

A game the papers claimed was a must win after their shock defeat to real betis...and win they did in some style. The scoring opened in just the 3rd minute when carew unleashed a 25 yard rasper that cannoned in off the right upright, from then on it was the big white steam train of amauri and carew that destroyed getafe fans hearts, they were restricted to 2 shots, both of which were off target, madrid had 15 shots with 10 on target.

a deserved madrid win which will surely take some of the pressure off the boss.....

Although the scoreline was close and Numancia matched Villarreal for 8 shots each on goal, the Submarines dominated possesion and hit the woodwork twice - a deserved win.

Week 9

Malaga 0 vs 9 Espanyol

Espanyol really shined against Malaga, substitute keeper Alvarez was barely worked and enjoyed a clean sheet. Raul Garcia opened the scoring in style after four minuites, Tchite managed to continue his great scoring form bagging himself a hat-trick and taking his tally for this season up to 10 goals. Luis Garcia looked like a new played, in Espanyols first 3 games he had only scored once but today he scored four wonderful goals. Etherington completed the scoring two minutes from time to round off a brilliant performance.

a great game with real madrid coming out on top in the Madrid derby. a game pretty much dominated by real saw them come away 3-1 winners. the key to the victory was possesion with real getting 59% whilst also having 13 shots, 8 of which on target.

Carew opened the scoring in the 16th minute when van der sar parried a amauri riffle and carew cleaned up from 12 yards.

real doubled the lead on 47mins when amauri was played through and he made no mistake riffling the ball into the top right hand corner. Johnson pulled one back from athletico on 58mins but carew made it safe with a 20yard beast which van der sar got a hand to but couldnt keep out.

MOTM: S.Squillaci 10/10

A cagey start to the match could have seen either side take the lead and take control. Some nice build up play from both sides but no end product.

Luis Fabiano finally broke the deadlock on 33minuts through the Almeria back line sitting on the half way line allowing Del Piero to slot a ball in behind for Fabiano to lack onto and slot past Ustari in goal.

The second cam minutes later and to be honest it doesn't merit a mention...re-bounded goal - enough said!

Almeria were unlucky to end the half 2 down, but poor finishing seemed to be the story of their day.

In the secoond half Sevilla looked alot more comfortable on the ball as they had the 2 goal kushion. And the game was put beyond doubt when S.Eto'o broke down the wing and cross for the A.Del Piero to head past the keeper. 3-0.

Almeria never gave up the search for a goal, but N.Vidic and man of the match S.Squillaci stood up well and limited the Almeria chances.

D.Kamara came close on a couple of occasions, but his efforts were tame and straight down the throat of Palop.

Sevilla's 4th came with 7minutes to play. A nice passing move into the box between S.Eto'o, Luis Fabiano and A.Del Piero was eventually played to an unmarked Maxi at the back post who stroked the ball home.

Scoreline a little flattering if I'm honest, however the 3points did go to the better team.
