my first game playing as Valladolid so wasn't use to them and first half Mitch was all over me but lucky enough was defending not to bad and keeper was good, second half played a bit better getting the passing going. most of the game was playing in midfield area as always intersepting each others passes, got lucky when Mitch hit the post, good game to mitch he had me on the ropes but kept my cool and held off for a draw.

Yeh good game, a couple of afternoons shooting practice wouldnt go amiss for my strikers

Deportivo finally record a win this season, team still feels so much slower than last year i think i might have changed tactics by mistake

MOTM: not sure but prob Fabregas cause he had a cracker of a game setting up most of the goals, bagging the opening goal and nearly scored a stunning curling freekick from 31 yds that hit the bar

Once Cesc knocked in a rebounded shot from Cassano after 8 mins this game only ever looked like going one way. Espanyol may well be unhappy with their performance this afternoon and maybe the heat got to them, but this was still a top notch showing from the Submarines. Espanyol having Kameni out did not help.

gg m8 gl with rest of em. first loss for espanyol but im sure u will do well with them this season. the villarreal superstars were just too much to handle.

Week 7

Sevilla 2 - 2 Espanyol

After a disappointing game against Villarreals superstars team Espanyol needed to bounce back. Kameni was back in goal for Espanyol which was a real boost for the side ahead of the game. Things took a turn for the worst early on, with Luis Fabiano finding space and a deflected effort flew into the back of the net. Espanyol bounced back with Mohamed Tchite, the youngster was layed up beautifully and took a touch into the box before firing his effort into the top corner.

Sevilla took the lead once again not long into the second half. A very poor pass at the back allowed Mohamed Tchite through on goal to put Espanyol back on level terms.

(We played Extra Time for fun and I was winning 5-2 but he quit out so I missed out on who scored his second goal.)

2 POINTS THROWN AWAY BY SEVILLA.

I don't think I can say anymore. Two beautifully crafted goals from Sevilla in a match that was a real midfield battle. However Sevilla gifted Espanyol with 2 goals. In fairness the first goal, Espanyol still had some work to do after the ball was given away cheaply outside the Sevilla box. However the second was a defensive howler. Slyvinho played the ball across the edge of the penatly box when I told him to go back to keeper. Tchite intercepted and slotted home.

Espanyol would not have scored in the match had it not been for the 2 errors by Sevilla.

After the match Bosic84 had this to say:

"ESPANYOL WILL NOT CHALLENGE FOR THE LA LIGA TITLE - OR EVEN A EUROPEAN SPOT FOR THAT MATTER. THERE ARE FAR TOO MANY BETTER TEAMS IN THIS LEAGUE."
