Scorers:
Camoranesi 4' Drogba 21' Kalou 30' Bosingwa (OG) 74' Drogba 76' Kalou 78' Drogba 81'
MOM: Drogba
Debry day for first game of the season and what acracker. Pure end to end stuff and goals galore, tottenham gave a great showing but chelsea take the points here. With only 2 shots on target for Tottenham and 11 for Chelsea that doesnt justify the game as it looked destined to be a draw
gg born and gl for the season

Diego on the other hand counter after counter very dangerous with Martins(11 shots on target), Very different Arsenal from the Carew,Ady partnership Well Played Mate Deserved Win you'll be there or there about I feel Next Up Old Traford

| Middlesborough 2-2 Manchester City
Scorers: Nihat, Maicon OG City: Totti, Silva
Great Game end to end stuff...
I hit the bar from two free kicks 25 and 35 yarders, although the first one i eventually scored from!!
Suckerpunch equaliser, and then in second half was an unlucky OG although it was keepers fault!
Another suckerpunch equaliser! and the game petered out!
Howard made two saves from adriano who was unlucky not to score!!
Good Luck Macleanie!!!

Good Luck Macleanie!!! Yeh very well played mate, i was a little disappointed with some of my defending and the final balls but not taking anything away from you at jeffy, was a very tight game, i hit the post 3 times, u hi the crossbar twice with thunderous free-kicks. Adriano was lethal, plowing thru my defense at numerous times in the match, one to watch out for. As the game panned out im happy with a point. Best of luck jeffy. Man city can not lose or draw many more games, not in the prem anymore..need a quick turnaround!

| Aston Villa 3 - 1 Arsenal
Well... where can i start. This game was always going to produce goals and was going to need some excellent defending. Luckily for Aston villa it was there day getting two early goals to go 2-0 up. Arsenal showed there potential and there willingness to go on as straight after Martins scored with a bundle in the area. Halftime approached with the teams going in, at this stage it was 2-1 to villa. The teams refreshed and went back out, it saw some more brilliant football from both sides with in form Alimunia saving some 1 on 1's with darren Bent. But Bent was the star as he scored his 2nd goal with a superb finish to finish off the game in the 70th minute. The rest was down to the villa defence as Arsenal will feel hard done by im sure as they created just as much chances as Villa.
Good game diegosly, unlucky mate brilliant game to play in.
Aston villa progress up the table
Aston Villa: Bent x2 Stankovic x1
Arsenal: Martins x1 | |
