great game jake played really well and was the better team on the day liverpool had a 1on1s on the break,
i even hit pass by mistake (panic) wit torres for one of them,
but jake was robbed he hit d bar from 6yrds out, I cleared just wide from a corner so close to an OG,
and yakubu went passed d keeper and under slight pressure from skrtel he swung his foot at the ball from 10yrds
and missed the ball completely, to my relief

decent game i felt i controlled first half using the counter attack well nighter played better second half couple of opportunites missed i hit him further on the break to seal the win

Well first game of the season for chelsea under new boss DKBlaps and against a tough team of Liverpool. New manager DKBlaps thought long and hard with trying new formations for the chelsea boys and finally settled on an attacking stance.

Game kicked off with Liverpool holding onto the ball and Chelsea happy to sit back. Immediately the blues took over with Robinho causing endless problems on the right side of the pitch, attacking the lb of Liverpool and linking up well with Drogba. 15 minutes in and Drogba opened his account with DKBlaps after a lovely through ball from Robinho put him 1 on 1 with valdes where he slotted home, a great start for the new boss.

Liverpool fought back with martins leading the way but didnt really come close as all the attacks were dominated by Chelsea and robinho used his pace to beat the keeper on his near post to make it 2-0 going into the break.

The second half saw liverpools hopes destroyed as wave after wave came from Chelsea and a corner from Lampard landed on Carvalho's head making it 3-0 and no way back from Liverpool

Another goal from drogba THEN a 41 yard freekick from Lampard which hits the crossbar and then hits reina in the back to go in, definately not Liverpools day! drogba and lamps got another one each and then Drogba pretty clean through making his way into the box in the 90th min and Skrtel hacked him from behind and received a straight red as he was clearly the last man - a bad end to a bad day for Liverpool.

finished 7-0 with Liverpool dominated but making some good plays - gg Blue and a great start to DKBlap's campaign with Chelsea - the board have to be happy with that one!

A pretty one sided game in all fairness which saw new wigan manager, Gary Moizer, make a winning start to life at the JJB.

Wigan dominated early on and got the break through on 11 mins when Zigic turned neatly in the box to finish in the top right corner. More goals followed before half time as another 2 from zigic and a1 for fernandes made it 4-0 going into HT.

Second half was a more even game with wigan adding 2 more goals through Xisco and Valencia.
