| WEEK 19
(chronicwombat) Recreativo Huelva 0 - 1 Deportivo (oo AJ mufc oo)
Scorers: D. Kuyt 87'
MOTM: D. Kuyt - 8
A very close game but Deportivo had more chances with Recreativo showing some fantastic defending and threatening on the counter attack. Eventually Recre were broken in the 87th min when a shot hit the post, came back and hit the keeper in the back and then came to kuyt who scored into an open net!
gg mate. im gutted not to get the point but you played well congrats.

| Espanyol 2-0 Numancia
Scorers: Luis Garcia M. Harewood
Very close game with both teams threating. in the first minutes so numancia threaten endlessly without no avail and continued to push more men up and unlucky got caught out with a superb break down the flanks with Xisco who cut back to the inform Luis Garciato slot home past the dodgy keeper... Numancia continued the pressure but with o'shea holdin the midfield it became hard 4 the visitors and gave away a cheap goal due to the dodgyy keepers clearance which fell to harewood and the bigman couldnt miss... In the second half both teams had chances but failed to take them which saw Espanyol through as 3point winners
gg m8 unlucky. | |

| Week 19
Seville 2 - 3 Atletico Madrid
Cisse x2
Van Persie x2 Simao
Atletico opened the scoring in the 6th minate from a goal mouth scramble with simao getting the final touch. The rest of the half was dominated by Seville who scoredthru Cisse in the 30th and 45th minate.
Second half Atletico went all out attack but with 90 mins on the clock it looked all over. But a penalty in the 90th converted by van persie and straight from the kick off with seville down to 10 men after thier CB was sent off for the penalty, Johnson was clean thru on goal only for Pallop to make a great save but Van Persie was on hand to tuck in the rebound.
A great end to the season for Atletico. GG Bosic. Looking forward to next season.

| WEEK 19(Bosic84) Sevilla 2 - 3 Ath Madrid (Coltomlive)Goals: Simao 5'D.Cisse 30' D.Cisse 45'R.Van Persie 90' (PEN) R.Van perise 90'In Sevilla's last game of the season, manager Bosic84 decided to try something different and play 3 upfront, knowning that they had to win by as many goals as possible to try and secure a Champs Cup spot for next season. Coltomlive and Atletico Madrid came into the came with nothing to play for but pride as the final league posistion of 6th already secured. For Sevilla, the start couldn't have been worse. D.Cisse missed a chance in the opening minutes before Madrid broke up the right. Walcott crossed and the ball was poorly cleared by Squillaci, the ball landed at Simao's feet, who was unmarked and passed the ball into the bottom corner past Palop. 1-0 Madrid. The goal seemed to kick Sevilla into gear and from then on the boys in white started to play, looking dangerous with the extra man up-front. The equaliser came just after the half hour mark when S.Eto'o broke down the right hand side. He spotted the run of D.Cisse at the far post who didn't have a marker in sight. Cisse had the time to control and tuck the ball past C.Gordon. Both teams had some good chances to take the lead before half-time, but it was to be Sevilla and D.Cisse who was to convert. Beating the offside trap and showing great speed to peel away from his man, Cisse sprinted straight to goal placing his shot beyond the reach of Gordon and cliping the post on its was in right on the half time whistle. The second half was Madrid as Coltomlive despreratly tried to get the equaliser. The Sevilla defence looked as though it would hold out and did very well in forcing the Madrid attackers to shoot from distance. Wave apon wave of Madrid offence was frustrated by poor finishing and great goalkeeping. The spoils looked to be going to Sevilla when in the 89th minute, Madrid got a corner, that C.Gordon came up for, went over the bar. The subsequent goal kick was poor and allowed R.Van Persie to turn Squillaci and get sight of goal. Squillaci knew he had to bring him down, which he did, but it looked outside the box. The ref waited for a moment before pointing the spot. Bosic runs straight from the dugout, fuming at the ref, it's choas! Bosic is sent to the stand for the second time this season, surely he has a point this time? It's not over, the referee shows Squillaci the red card, which was about right. Van Persie steps upto take the penalty himself. Palop guesses correctly as Van Persie places in the top left hand corner. Palop gets a hand tot it but its not enough. As the Sevilla players continue to protest with the referee, Madrid win the ball from centre. A.Johnson breaks forward, Sevilla are caught short due to being down to 10 men Johnson shoots but Palop saves! Van Persie was in the right place to pick up the rebound and finished well. Sevilla and Bosic are stunned...The crowd can't believe it. Sevilla have to settle for 3rd place and Uefa Cup football next season. Well played Coltomlive. You deserved a draw after the second half display, but the win was very harsh on myself. As I said the challenge was defo outside the box! | |

| Osasuna 6-3 Almeria Portillo x3....Piatti Geremi x2....Soriano Smith..........Solari Motm: A.Smith A very open game with quite a few chances for both teams, Osasuna created more chances, probably because Almeria were reduced to 10 men after 15 minutes. But Osasuna deserved the win. Good game | |

| WEEK 10
(Llandyrnog RSC) Osasuna 3 - 0 Recreativo De Huelva (chronicwombat)
Scorers: not sure about details of first two goals because of disconnection in 1st half, but Smith definitely got one. then after restart at 2-0...... A. Smith 50'
MOTM: Beto - 9
An awful end to the season for Recreativo. Recre started positively, pressing into the Osasuna third, only for a tackle then long though ball to set Smith free for the first goal from the first shot of the game. Osasuna went a second goal up soon after and this one really seemed to boost their confidence, when there was a disconnection and the game had to be restarted!
So restarted it was, at 2-0 Osasuna. Once again Recreativo started positively, and within 10 minutes of the restart nihat had a one on one saved by Lopez and banega had hit the bar from a header. Recreativo were unlucky not to get one back. Osasuna did not feel sorry for them however, as they continued to break up Recreativo attacks and set Smith racing though with surprising speed.
On 55 minutes one of those break aways proved fatal again - Smith scoring again and making it 3-0. This was a comfortable scoreline in the end for Osasuna, but Rereativo fans will once again be wondering how their team did not pick up more from this game. There is no doubt that Smith in particular was excellent, but the teams were level for shots on target and the numerous 1 on 1ns and great chances that Recre missed will leave a bitter taste for some time......
