| One red light on my xbox in bottom right....will see what microsoft say about it... looking on the internet, if u cant get it working by turning plug on and off, then have to get new one dont sack me, will catch up games...and keep u informed | |

And if it's Overheating problem(as adie mentions) I don't think making a overheated xbox more heated up would do that much good. Contact xbox and see what they can do, I think they fix reds for FREE. | |

| yeah fixing it for free...coming to get it tommorrow.. 2 weeks maybe what is the towel trick? does it work....will try getting it to work for final time tonight, so look for me online | |

| towel trick is good to keep a knackered xbox goin. kept my old one goin for weeks by repeatin it every 2-3 days. take out any game + hd + unplug tv connection. wrap the xbox in 2-3 towels/coats/sheets whatever so that its quite well wrapped up but so that u can still c the ring on front. basically u tryin to overheat it and trick it. turn on and wait until u get 4 flashing red lights (about 15-40 mins depending on how well wrapped up). once u get those lights its tellin u its overheated so turn off, unwrap it and let it cool down for 20-30 mins or so. once cooled down reconnect everything, cross ure fingers and it should work fine | |
